One of the projects we are currently working on is an Early Bushfire Detection Device. The aim is to build a portable, economical and easy to maintain device which could be used by NSW Rural Fire Services (or another, similar organisation) to assist them in monitoring bushfire risk in medium size areas. This project is at very early stages of development. It is currently used for academic purposes in partnership with an Australian education institute.
According to Geoscience Australia, bushfires are a natural part of Australia’s environment. However the end of 2019 and the start of 2020 saw some of the most devastating, uncontrollable bushfires raging across the land, causing a lot of damage to nature and property, killing wildlife in great numbers, and causing human casualties as well. We at BRR Technology Solutions aim to advance with our Early Bushfire Detection Device project, with the goal of developing a product that could help to prevent bushfire and assist bushfire control.
